In September 2023, the ranking The World's Leading IP Strategists 2023 was published by IAM Strategy 300, on the basis of which the publisher selects "Global Leaders" at the end of the year.

The Handelsblatt Research Institute surveyed more than 1,800 lawyers in 230 law firms to compile the ranking in the categories of patent, copyright and product liability law. It was published in WirtschaftsWoche issue no. 41 from 06.10.2023.

[October 2023] The JUVE Patent Rankings Germany 2023 are online. JUVE annually publishes rankings in the categories "Patent Filing", "Litigation: Patent Attorneys" and "Litigation: Lawyers" and nominates "Leading Individuals".
karo IP is listed in the Patent Filing ranking, showing the leading patent law firms in Germany filing patent applications.

Who's Who Legal (by Lexology) publishes annual rankings for various areas of law based on independent research.
IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals 2023
[July 2023] karo IP is recognized in the IAM Patent 1000 Ranking 2023 in the areas of Prosecution and Nullity and Transactions. Four karo IP attorneys are recommended in the list of the 1000 leading patent attorneys worldwide. The annual publication IAM Patent 1000 (published by Law Business Research) comments:

Best Lawyers | Handelsblatt: Deutschlands Beste Anwälte 2023
[June 2023] Best Lawyers in cooperation with Handelsblatt announced the new rankings on June 16. Justus Kreuels and Matthias Rößler are listed in the Germany Ranking 2024 in the category: Intellectual Property Law. Justus Kreuels has also been awarded as "Lawyer of the Year (North Rhine-Westphalia)".
The U.S. publisher Best Lawyers annually determines the most renowned lawyers in various fields of law in an extensive peer-to-peer research.

Financial Times: Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2023
[June 2023] Financial Times publishes "Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2023" in mid-June. karo IP is recommended in Mechanical Engineering, as in the previous year.
In total, 177 law firms from Europe specializing in patent prosecution and patent strategy consulting are presented in the Financial Times listing. Based on an online survey, clients and colleagues from law firms and IP departments were interviewed in recent months.
The technical areas in which recommendations could be made are: Chemistry & Pharmaceuticals, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology & Food, Materials & Nanotechnology, and IT & Software.

WirtschaftsWoche Top Kanzleien 2022
[November 2022] The most renowned patent attorneys: karo IP is among the top law firms 2022.
The Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) surveyed more than 1,700 lawyers from 220 law firms for WirtschaftsWoche to find their most renowned colleagues for patent and copyright law. According to the jury's evaluation, 25 law firms prevailed for patent law among patent attorneys and 19 law firms prevailed among patent attorneys.

The 2023 edition of „The Best Lawyers in Germany“, which was created exclusively for Handelsblatt, recognizes the professional achievements of more than 6,000 lawyers in 84 practice areas.

Financial Times: Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2022
[June 2022] karo IP is recommended in the Financial Times listing "Europe's Leading Patent Law Firms 2022".
This year's Financial Times listing includes 167 law firms active in intellectual property law and specializing in patent prosecution and patent strategy consulting in Europe. Based on an online survey, clients, colleagues working in law firms, and those working in corporate patent departments were asked about their opinion.
The technical fields in which recommendations could be made were Chemistry & Pharmaceuticals, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology & Food, Materials & Nanotechnology, and IT & Software. karo IP is recommended in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

WirtschaftsWoche Top Kanzleien: Patentrecht
[November 2021] karo IP has been named "TOP Law Firm 2021" by WirtschaftsWoche in the legal field Patent Law. In addition, Matthias Rößler is highlighted as patent attorney.
Every year, the Handelsblatt Research Institute surveys more than 1500 lawyers in 200 law firms. The selected lawyers were asked to name the most renowned colleagues from these. According to the jury's evaluation, 23 law firms prevailed for patent law and 25 law firms prevailed for patent attorneys.
The listing appeared as part of the article "Tüfteln für Millionen" in the German Magazine WirtschaftsWoche (issue No. 45 of Nov. 06, 2021).

The German magazine Handelsblatt published the article “Deutschlands beste Anwälte 2020“ on June 22, 2020. The patent attorneys Justus Kreuels and Matthias Rößler are recommended in the field of IP ("Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz") in North Rhine-Westphalia ("Nordrhein-Westfalen").

[June 2019] The well-known international US publication Best Lawyers has mentioned and distinguished karo IP and the partners of the firm (patent attorney Rößler and patent attorney Kreuels) as Best Lawyers for Intellectual Property Law in Germany in 2019. Based on recommendations from colleagues and clients, a peer-to-peer survey in Germany, Austria and Switzerland ranks the best lawyers in each field of law.
