Our offices
Our offices are located in the metropolitan areas of Düsseldorf and Munich, close to the patent and trademark offices and the courts. From these two locations, the patent attorneys of karo IP advise their clients in all IP-related proceedings before the GPTO and the EPO as well as before the Federal Patent Court and the patent litigation chambers of the district courts.
Düsseldorf
The headquarter of our patent law firm is in Düsseldorf, where many international companies and the currently most important patent infringement court in Europe are located.
The most of our employees work at our main location at the "Platz der Ideen". From here, our team of German and European patent attorneys support the clients in all matters concerning intellectual property protection (in particular in the technical fields of automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, software/IT, physics, medical technology and biotechnology) as well as in trademark and design law.
Düsseldorf is located in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region, the center of the largest and one of the strongest economic regions in Europe. Our patent law firm ensures close contact to startups as well as to established companies in this region.
Europe's most important courts for patent infringement and trademark litigation are located in the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. Groundbreaking court decisions in all technical fields worldwide have been made in Düsseldorf.
From our office, the Higher Regional Court (OLG Düsseldorf), the Regional Court (LG Düsseldorf) and the international airport DUS can be easily reached. Another benefit is Düsseldorf's regional proximity to The Hague in the Netherlands, the second most important location of the European Patent Office for opposition and appeal hearings.
