Our offices
Our offices are located in the metropolitan areas of Düsseldorf and Munich, close to the patent and trademark offices and the courts. From these two locations, the patent attorneys of karo IP advise their clients in all IP-related proceedings before the GPTO and the EPO as well as before the Federal Patent Court and the patent litigation chambers of the district courts.
Munich
The Bavarian capital is the headquarter of the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO) and the European Patent Office (EPO). A large number of German R&D centres of internationally operating industrial companies are located in Munich and Upper Bavaria.
From Munich, karo IP supports its clients in German, European and Chinese patent law. The German and European patent attorneys at the Munich office deal in particular with inventions in the fields of automotive engineering, construction technology, mechanical engineering, biology and biochemistry.
Our office is located in the heart of Munich between Max-Weber-Platz and Wiener Platz. From there, both the patent offices (GPTO, EPO) and the courts (LG München, OLG München, Bundespatentgericht) are very easily accessible.
The patent attorneys at both locations also use the office at the Maximilianeum for meetings with clients and the preparation of court hearings, as well as in the context of cooperation with colleagues and technical experts.
On-site we have established and maintain a large network of specialists in the field of trademark and patent infringement litigation. Internationally, there is a long-standing and trusting exchange with law firms and colleagues in Europe, China, Japan, Korea and the USA.
karo IP is sharing the office with the law firm Sylvenstein Rechtsanwälte.
